Carlos is back.

In AGS.

Yesterday, I saw Carlos, my former boyfriend. He's back from Canada, where he spent six months. He returned to Mexico on May 1st, and to Aguascalientes on the 5th.

Ave and I were going to watch a play, but an appointment with her doctor made it not possible, so the three of us went to eat sushi.

Carlos brought me a Joe Phillips book! It is Cali Boys. He did not know about Joe or his work, but when he saw the book, he knew I would like it (and I do, it is awesome). It is so inspiring, I wanna draw more already (n_n). Yes, draw.

Next Sunday, there's a lunch party for him, organized by Antonieta and Susana (not my house-mate, the other one).

César.

*eyes your DQ music*

Which CDs do you have or mp3s? I have III, IV live, and Best.

I only have one CD, which is Symphonic Suite Dragon Quest V Tenku no Hanayome. I bought it on a convention, but it turns out it is one of those pirate copies, since it is "Miya Records", not Sony (I think Sony is the one who released this CD).

The rest I have as MP3. I had lots I had gotten through the years in a CD.

Sadly, last year I lent it to someone, and I don't remember who...

Luckily, I had an earlier version of the CD in my old belongings, but there must be a few missing files, I think, and some may be scratched (T_T).

I still remember my first DQ MP3, Chateau Ladutorm. It felt so nice and majestic (I only had the MIDI files before).

I want to get the CDs (Play-Asia has some), but I am still on my way to get Final Fantasy games (I am now up to date on the DQ games I could find "new").

I have a few (perhaps all the regular ones).

I think I can do that.

Ah Joe Phillips. Have never really got into his work, but he's not bad at all - his work seems to have an almost (westernised) animated style about it. I prefer Oliver Frey and Josman and Harry Bush when it comes to gay comics... I hope it inspires you to draw some smutty artwork for a change - you're missing out on so much fun with your damn worksafe-only internet connection. ;)

Hahahaha, I guess I am missing out. I know Joe Phillips from some magazines, where there are ads for his postcards, or that cartoon he worked on (Morecock).

I would have to see those other guys' work, but still, Joe draws mostly the type I like, young, cute, slim and almost always hairless.

I could try to do full frontal again, I'd just have to work it into a "non-sexual way" (as if). But anyway, I have not drawn anything these past months (finished pics, I've done a lot of notebook sketches, as always).

But Joe Phillips's book has lots of pics of guys with their clothes on, and they're still hot! I could at the very least be inspired to draw more like those. I would love to be able to draw those smiling faces, for sure.
